The definition of support worker is someone who looks after the well-being of vulnerable people. They help people to live their lives as independently as possible and support them in reaching their potential, through both practical and emotional support.

The type of care a support worker provides can and should be tailored to the needs of the individual to improve the participants quality of life, achieve their goals and make a very real and positive difference to their lives. It is important to find support workers that are right for you

We each as individuals have a very personal concept of what an ordinary life looks like, we aim to help you find support workers that will best help you reach your goals and live YOUR version of an ordinary life. We encourage you to make a checklist of what qualities and skills you need in your support workers, you can use this to cross reference against their profiles to help you chose the right person to get the assistance you want.

And remember you can chose different people for different supports, it does not have to be one size fits all.
